Linda Lomelino and Silvia Bifaro
with the kind participation of Catia Lemmi
One-day workshop in a 250-year-old Mayfair mansion where we'll work with winter's ingredients - gingerbread cakes, seasonal panettone, and all the textures that make December so rich.
We spent the day moving between floors, exploring different lights, inspiring and recharging you for 2026. Just twelve of us, no rushing, plenty of space to find what draws your eye and step into the new year creatively recharged and nourished. This was my first non-technical workshop focused on connection and inspiration where the poetry of the space guided our shutters.
An Extraordinary Creative Experience

Limited to a small group of photographers. 5th December 2025. One unforgettable day.
Join us for a day dedicated to building your portfolio, reconnecting with your creative spark, and working with winter's most beautiful ingredients in a 250-year-old Georgian mansion in the heart of Mayfair.
14 Cavendish Square is where Dior, Hermès, and Netflix create their campaigns - and in December, it became our creative sanctuary. Four floors of natural light pouring through those massive Georgian windows, weathered walls that tell centuries of stories, a backgrounds to shoot cakes and beautiful Christmas panettone. The mansion becomes private in 2026, so we're literally among the last to create there.
Just twelve of us. Linda, Catia, and I will guide you through different setups - from intimate window-lit scenes to grand architectural backdrops. We'll photograph, create, and share—together. No rushing, just proper time to explore and find what draws your eye.
Was ideal for refining style and indulging in a day to feel creatively alive again.
We have been excited to welcome our students!

Dear Silvia, Linda and Catia, thank you for such a wonderful Christmas photography workshop.
The mansion was gorgeous, but it was really the three of you - your creativity and encouragement - that made the day so magical. I loved trying new angles, adding movement, and just thinking a bit more outside the box I left feeling inspired, more confident, and excited to keep experimenting.
Thank you for being so approachable and for sharing your knowledge so generously — what a magical day - I really loved it. Julia

Built in 1770, 14 Cavendish Square stands as one of London's most extraordinary creative spaces—a Grade II* listed Georgian mansion where centuries of history live in every weathered wall and elegant archway.
Spanning 11,000 square feet across five magnificent floors, this Mayfair treasure offers floor-to-ceiling Georgian windows that flood each room with the kind of natural light photographers dream of—soft, directional, and ever-changing throughout the day.
The mansion's raw beauty lies in its authentic patina: peeling walls that tell stories, original architectural details that frame every shot, and grand staircases that create natural backdrops no studio can replicate.
This is where luxury brands like Dior, Hermès, and Netflix choose to create their most important content—and for one extraordinary December day, it becomes your creative sanctuary.
Whether you're a seasoned photographer looking to elevate your portfolio, or someone who's always dreamed of creating beautiful photography but didn't know where to start — this is for you!

I was a bit scared to come to the workshop, I was thinking everybody was going to be full-blown photographers. How wrong I was!

I loved it! It was the perfect blend of instruction with letting us photograph what and how we wanted. I like that it wasn't super structured and we could go where the inspiration led us. I also loved that the instructors became our models as well.

It was so fun to capture my first powdered sugar and candle smoke shots. I'm leaving with new ideas for my portfolio and a fresh eye for storytelling moments. I loved hearing the suggestions on quick and slow shutter speeds to freeze movement or create dreamy blur.

Silvia revealed herself to be an amazing, warm person who made the entire learning experience feel personal. —perfect for both beginners and experienced photographers.

Linda has been photographing and creating recipes for over 20 years. She's the creator behind Call Me Cupcake and has authored multiple cookbooks published and translated around the world.
Canon Europe once described her as "one of the most exciting recipe creators and food photographers in the world." Her work has this quality of making you want to reach into the frame - there's warmth there, and genuine curiosity that comes through in every shot.
After two decades behind the camera, she's developed a distinctive way of photography that balances technical mastery with emotional storytelling. That's the approach she brings to teaching.
Silvia is Italian-born and London-based, with a background that took her from fashion design at Istituto Marangoni to becoming the youngest manager at United Colours of Benetton. She eventually left that world entirely to pursue photography.
She's worked for publications like Marie Claire Maison and now teaches food photography through her PCS Academy online course. Her approach is about making complex visual concepts actually understandable - she has a knack for breaking down what intimidates people about photography and making it accessible.
The fashion background still shows up in how she sees composition and colour. After years of transitioning from corporate fashion to creative photography, she knows firsthand what it takes to find your own visual voice, and that's what she focuses on in her teaching.
Catia is an intuitive photographer with a 20-year clinical psychology career, currently studying Lacanian psychotherapy in London.
Her unique perspective bridges the analytical mind and creative soul, exploring how we express our authentic selves through visual storytelling.
Catia believes that photography is a language of the soul—every frame we create reveals something true about who we are. She's here to support your creative journey.
