I'm a food photographer and educator based in London.
I graduated from Marangoni and was one of the youngest people appointed fashion manager at Benetton. Then I picked up a camera...

I grew up in Italy watching my nonna cook, where I learned that food is never just food - it's memory, tradition, connection. That's what I try to capture in every image.

Being Italian means I approach teaching through connection. I create spaces where people talk, share, support each other. The community that forms in my workshops and online course is just as valuable as the technical skills.

I've been featured in Corriere Della Sera, I work with brands like Nespresso, and spent the last 8 years teaching photographers how to create work that actually reflects their vision.

My approach is technical but not fussy. Moody but not pretentious. I work on marble counters and scaffolding planks pulled from skips because the tools don't matter as much as knowing what to do with them.

That's what this space is about.

Are you are to bring your vision to life? Let's do it!

You look at your photos and delete them. Again. This is when we all start spiralling.
Maybe this's not for you

I spent my first year in that exact space. Taking photos, hating them, wondering if I should just give up. The gap between what I wanted to create and what showed up in my camera felt like proof I wasn't meant to do this.

But it wasn't about talent or having "it." I was missing specific knowledge - small decisions that completely change how an image feels.

Once I understood those pieces, everything shifted. Not because I bought better gear or suddenly became more talented. Because I finally knew what I was doing, and that made me grow.

That's what I teach - the clarity that makes the difference.

But ...Who's Silvia and I teach?

Being Italian means I approach teaching through conversation and connection. I'm your guide on the side not the teacher on the stage. My in-person workshops and online course are spaces where people connect, share, support each other. The community that forms is just as valuable as the technical skills.

I believe great photography comes from understanding the whys more than just learning the hows. That's why I break everything down into clear, specific decisions you can actually apply.

I work on marble counters and scaffolding planks pulled from skips because I want you to see that the tools don't matter as much as knowing what to do with them. You don't need expensive gear or years of experience to create compelling work.

You need clarity, support, and people who understand what you're trying to build.
That's what this space is about. That's what I'm here for!
