Beyond excited to announce the 2024 edition of the Food Reel 2-day Workshop with my friend and powerhouse Kimberly behind the @thelittlplantation and Eatcaptureshare Podcast.

Two-day intensive workshop on the 22nd and 23rd of March 2024 from 10 am to 4:30 pm.
We offer spaces for this workshop only to a limited number of students to ensure the best experience.

The workshop will be a BUSY 2 days and an opportunity to connect with like-minded people in a friendly and welcoming environment.

The day starts at 10 and ends at 4:30. To attend, you need to have a good understanding of your camera settings and the urge to grow and learn!

During the workshop, you will learn the foundations and more advanced techniques of composition, colour theory and storytelling for Reels and Short Videos; we lay for you all the foundations of successful food videography.

Plenty of beautiful food, props and ingredients will be available.

You will also learn to use recording and editing skills to set yourself apart. We will demonstrate step by step how to plan, crop, and compose your clips to create dynamic, engaging Reels.

You will understand how to apply content creation strategies to beat the overwhelm of constantly producing new and exciting content.

You will also learn how I work with food and clients, creating unstaged and enticing Reels that naturally incorporate all the elements of the food story.

You will learn editing details for Instagram and TickTock and how to create Shorts.

Where is the workshop held?

The 2-day workshop is held in the welcoming and spacious Kemble House Studio.
Kemble House is a warehouse photography studio in Forest Hill, southeast London. It has a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen of 700 square feet with north-facing daylight windows.

Why we wanted this workshop

I learned the most from shadowing and assisting professional photographers. Shadowing a pro in a big studio or travelling to venues can be a rare opportunity, and I knew I wanted to recreate a similar experience for my students.

What can you expect?

The workshop is a balanced mix of show-and-tell and hands-on experience. You can expect to receive clear guidance and actionable techniques, as well as have fun with creative ideas and collaborate on a video with your fellow students.
You can expect to fast-forward your skills and potentiate your creative growth, leaving the workshop feeling inspired and motivated!

I work constantly as a content creator for AMAZING brands that successfully use Instagram and TickTock to reach their audiences. I produce dynamic recipe Reels and fast video clips. I am always exposed to new trends by companies that still keep their ethos high and have elevated visual content.

Kimberly is an award winning food photographer, stylist, author and educator, who has taught 1000s of students from around the world food photography and styling.
